of <h1>New Rules for Nidhi Companies and Mutual Benefit Societies Under Sections 620A(1) and 406 of Companies Act</h1> These rules apply to: (a) companies declared as Nidhi or Mutual Benefit Societies under section 620A(1) of the Companies Act, 1956; (b) companies operating like Nidhi companies or Mutual Benefit Societies that have either not applied or are awaiting notification under section 620A(1) of the Companies Act, 1956; (c) companies incorporated as Nidhis under section 406 of the Act; and (d) companies declared as Nidhi or Mutual Benefit Societies under section 406(1) of the Act, as amended by a notification effective from August 15, 2019.
