          <h1>Enforcement powers: appointment of special officer to assume management of noncompliant nidhi after opportunity to be heard.</h1> The registrar may call for information and engage chartered accountants, company secretaries or cost accountants to enforce the Nidhi Rules, and where a Nidhi has violated the rules or failed to function per its Memorandum and Articles, the competent authority may appoint a Special Officer to take over management who shall act under issued guidelines, after affording the Nidhi an opportunity to be heard.
