Amendment inserts tariff entry 31A under heading 3004 for medicaments exclusively used in Ayurvedic, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathic or Bio-chemic systems, covering medicaments manufactured per authoritative pharmacopoeias and sold under names specified therein or medicaments of those systems sold under a brand name; it defines 'brand name' as any name or mark used to indicate a trade connection, registered or not.
