of <h1>Finance Bill 2013 Amends Customs Tariff: 20% on Sugar, 30% on Bauxite and Ilmenite, New Entries Introduced</h1> The Fourth Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, as amended by the Finance Bill of 2013, introduces new tariff entries in the Second Schedule. A 20% tariff is imposed on raw, white, or refined sugar under entry 9A. New entries 23A and 23B impose a 30% tariff on natural bauxite, both calcined and not calcined. Additionally, entries 24A and 23B impose a 30% tariff on unprocessed and upgraded ilmenite, respectively. These amendments adjust the customs duties applicable to these specific goods.
