Service of documents: speed post with proof of delivery and Board approved courier added as valid modes under section 37C. The amendment adds speed post with proof of delivery and courier approved by the Central Board of Excise and Customs as authorized modes for service of documents under the service provisions of section 37C of the Central Excise Act, and makes a consequential insertion in subsection (2) to treat such courier deliveries similarly to deliveries by post.
