of <h1>Finance Bill 2012 Amends Section 245Q: Advance Rulings Application Fee Raised to 10,000 Effective July 1, 2012</h1> Clause 88 of the Finance Bill, 2012, amends section 245Q of the Income-tax Act concerning applications for advance rulings. The amendment revises sub-section (2) to increase the application fee from two thousand five hundred rupees to ten thousand rupees or a prescribed fee, whichever is higher. This change is effective from July 1, 2012, and requires applications to be submitted in quadruplicate.
