New Anti-Dumping Duty Rules 1995 Implemented to Protect Domestic Industries from Harmful Imports Under Customs Tariff Act 1975
These rules, titled the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, were established by the Central Government under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. They supersede the 1985 rules related to the same subject, except for actions completed or omitted prior to this change. The rules came into effect on January 1, 1995, and outline procedures for identifying, assessing, and collecting anti-dumping duties on imported goods that harm domestic industries.
