of <h1>Regulation 10: Authorized Courier Registration Process Updated, Removes 10-Year Validity and Renewal Clause After 2021 Amendment.</h1> Regulation 10 of the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998, outlines the registration process for becoming an Authorized Courier. Upon reviewing an application, the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs may register an applicant if they meet the necessary requirements. Previously, the registration was valid for ten years and could be renewed based on satisfactory performance and absence of misconduct. However, this provision regarding the validity and renewal process was omitted in a 2021 amendment.
