Designation change of customs officers: references to listed officer titles are to be read as substituted authorities. The Central Government, using powers under the Customs Act, directs that references to specific existing officer titles in instruments made under the Act shall be construed as references to the substituted officer titles listed in the Table, applying to Customs, Central Excise and related posts unless the context otherwise requires.
