of <h1>RNI Joins e-SANCHIT System for Paperless LPCO Processing; Importers/Exporters Must Update Procedures by May 31, 2020.</h1> The circular announces the inclusion of the Registrar of Newspapers of India (RNI) in the e-SANCHIT system, a paperless processing platform for uploading Licenses/Permits/Certificates/Other Authorizations (LPCOs) by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). With RNI's addition, the total PGAs on e-SANCHIT is now 51. From May 31, 2020, importers/exporters cannot upload prior LPCOs; RNI must upload recent LPCOs. Communication with beneficiaries will occur via registered ICEGATE emails. Beneficiaries must ensure correct email registration. Customs officials are instructed to publicize these changes and address any issues with the Board.
