It highlights the need for IEC holders to register on ICEGATE to facilitate the uploading of Licenses, Permits, Certificates, and Other Authorizations (LPCOs) by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). The process has been simplified by eliminating the requirement for a Digital Signature Certificate for those not filing documents through ICEGATE. Registration will provide direct access to consignment information and allow electronic communication of Import Report Numbers (IRNs) and queries from Customs. Importers and exporters are urged to register promptly.
