of <h1>ESANCHIT System Expands: 23 More Agencies Join Paperless Trade Process, Effective November 16, 2018, Under SWIFT Initiative.</h1> The circular from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, announces the expansion of the eSANCHIT system for paperless processing under the SWIFT initiative. Effective from November 16, 2018, the system allows Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) to upload digitally signed Licenses, Permits, Certificates, and Other Authorizations (LPCOs) to streamline import and export processes. Initially, three PGAs were onboarded, and now 23 more are included. From July 1, 2019, importers, exporters, and customs brokers cannot upload previously issued LPCOs. PGAs must upload LPCOs issued in the last 15 days before the cutoff date to facilitate trade.
