Withdrawal of approval for non compliant projects or failure to report, after show cause and AO notification. National Committee may withdraw approval of associations or institutions, and may withdraw notification of eligible projects or schemes, where the project or scheme is not carried out in accordance with the conditions of approval/notification or where prescribed annual reports are not furnished. In both cases the Committee must give a reasonable opportunity to show cause against proposed withdrawal and must forward a copy of the withdrawal order or withdrawn notification to the Assessing Officer having jurisdiction over the concerned entity.
