Amendment to section 80AC adds sections 80-ID and 80-IE to its scope, effective from April 2008. Amendment inserts cross-references into section 80AC of the Income-tax Act to include sections 80-ID and 80-IE within its scope by inserting the relevant words, figures and letters; the insertion takes effect from the first day of April, 2008, and is enacted under the Finance Act, 2007.
