of <h1>New Valuer Registration Requires Form N and Rs. 1,000 Fee; Special Conditions for Pre-1988 Registrants and Pending Applications</h1> An application for registration as a valuer under the Wealth Tax Rules, 1957, must be submitted in Form N with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000. Individuals registered between June 1, 1985, and June 1, 1988, seeking continuation of registration do not need to pay a fee. Applications pending before June 1, 1988, with revised qualifications require an additional Rs. 750 fee. If qualifications are not revised, a new application and fee adjustment are needed. Applicants ineligible due to revised qualifications may request a fee refund.
