of <h1>Notices under Wealth Tax Rules 1957: Use Form C for Section 30, Form D for Section 15C (now omitted).</h1> Every notice of demand under section 30 of the Wealth Tax Rules, 1957, must be issued in Form C. However, if the notice pertains to the provisional assessment of wealth tax under section 15C, it should be in Form D. The reference to section 15C was omitted by the Direct Tax Laws (Amendment) Act, 1987, effective from April 1, 1989.
