Advance ruling applications require Form No. 120, prescribed fees, and electronic filing with verified signatures. Application for an advance ruling under section 383 must be made by a resident or non-resident applicant in Form No. 120 and verified as specified in the form. The fee payable with the application depends on the category of applicant and, in relevant cases, the amount of the transaction for which the ruling is sought. Applications, annexures, statements and accompanying documents must be furnished electronically and signed or digitally signed in the manner prescribed, and the application must be accompanied by proof of fee payment.
