Withdrawal of approval: committee may rescind project approvals or notifications for non compliance after opportunity to show cause. Section 35AC is amended to allow the National Committee to withdraw approval granted to an association or institution if a project or scheme is not carried out in accordance with the conditions of approval, and to withdraw notifications of eligible projects issued under the Explanation where notified projects fail to comply with their conditions; in each case the Committee must give a reasonable opportunity to the concerned entity to show cause before withdrawal.
