of <h1>Interest-tax Act Section 6 Amended: 'Scheduled Banks' Now 'Credit Institutions'; Date Range Clarified from 1985 to 1991.</h1> Section 6 of the Interest-tax Act is amended effective October 1, 1991. The term 'scheduled banks' in subsection (2) is replaced with 'credit institutions.' Additionally, the reference to the period 'after the 31st day of March, 1985' is revised to 'during the period commencing on the 1st day of April, 1985 and ending with the 30th day of September, 1991.' These changes are part of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1991.
