of <h1>Wealth-tax Act Section 37A Amended: 'Chief Commissioner' Changed to 'Director' Effective October 1, 1991.</h1> Section 37A of the Wealth-tax Act has been amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1991. In sub-section (6A), the term 'Chief Commissioner or Commissioner' is replaced with 'Director or, as the case may be, Commissioner.' This amendment takes effect from October 1, 1991.
