Effective Oct 1, 1991.</h1> Section 15 of the Interest-tax Act has been amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1991. The amendment replaces the term 'Income-tax Officer' with 'Assessing Officer' throughout the section. This change is effective from October 1, 1991.
