Repeal and savings: prior lesser-penalty regulations deemed continued under corresponding new provisions, and references updated accordingly. The 2009 Lesser Penalty Regulations are repealed when the 2024 Regulations commence, subject to savings that deem actions, proceedings, decisions, inquiries and investigations begun under the repealed regulations to have been done under corresponding provisions of the 2024 Regulations; rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accrued under the repealed regulations remain unaffected; and references to the 2009 Regulations are read as references to corresponding provisions of the 2024 Regulations.
