of <h1>New Amendment: Rule 3A Requires All Penalty Adjudications Conducted Electronically from 2024; Notices Sent via Email or Post</h1> Rule 3A of the Companies (Adjudication of Penalties) Rules, 2014 mandates that all proceedings related to the adjudication of penalties will be conducted electronically via an e-adjudication platform developed by the Central Government, effective from the 2024 amendment. Existing proceedings prior to this amendment will continue under the previous rules. If an email address is unavailable for serving notices, they will be sent by post to the last known address, with a copy preserved electronically. If no address is available, the notice will be posted on the e-adjudication platform.
