          <h1>Registration requirement: Index providers must obtain Board-issued certification and evidence of IOSCO Principles compliance.</h1> Index providers must obtain a certificate of registration from the Board; existing providers have a six month transitional window or until disposal of a timely application. Benchmarks regulated by the central bank are excluded. Applications must use the prescribed form with a non refundable fee. Applicants must file an independent external auditor's compliance assessment confirming adherence to IOSCO Principles for Financial Benchmarks, or provide written reasons and an undertaking to submit that report within six months of registration, subject to Board extensions.
