of <h1>GST Tribunal Members Must Take Oath Before Duty as per Rule 17, 2023 Appointment Rules</h1> Every individual appointed as the President or a Member of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal must take and subscribe to an oath of office and secrecy before assuming their duties. This requirement is outlined in Rule 17 of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (Appointment and Conditions of Service of President and Members) Rules, 2023, and the oath must be made in accordance with Form II and Form III attached to these rules.
