of <h1>Regulation 21 allows extension of compliance period for Customs Brokers facing uncontrollable delays, per Notification No. 52/2022.</h1> Regulation 21 of the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 grants the Board the authority to extend the compliance period for an applicant, Customs Broker, or NACIN if they are unable to meet their obligations within the specified timeframe due to circumstances beyond their control. This extension is contingent upon the applicant satisfying all other relevant conditions and requires the Board to document the reasons for granting additional time. This provision was introduced through Notification No. 52/2022-Customs (N.T.) on June 24, 2022.
