of <h1>Customs Broker License Suspension: Regulation 16 Allows Immediate Action Pending Inquiry, Hearing Within 15 Days Required.</h1> The Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018, under Regulation 16, allow the Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs to suspend a Customs Broker's license if immediate action is necessary and an inquiry is pending or contemplated. The suspension can be limited to specific Customs Stations, with reasons documented in writing. Within fifteen days of suspension, the Customs Broker must be given a hearing opportunity, after which the Commissioner may decide to revoke or continue the suspension. If the suspension continues, further procedures are outlined in Regulation 17.
