          <h1>Suspension of license enables immediate suspension of customs broker licences pending enquiry, with a hearing and further procedure.</h1> The Principal Commissioner or Commissioner of Customs may suspend a Customs Broker's licence where immediate action is necessary and an enquiry is pending or contemplated, and may limit suspension to specified Customs Stations for reasons recorded in writing. Following suspension, the officer must give the broker an opportunity of hearing within fifteen days and may revoke or continue the suspension within fifteen days of that hearing; continued suspension is subject to further procedure under regulation 17.
