of <h1>Regulation 10: Restrictions on Appointing Professionals in Insolvency Processes; Excludes Debtor's Auditors, Relatives, and Unregistered Individuals.</h1> The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) Regulations, 2021, under Regulation 10, allows a resolution professional to appoint professionals as per clause (e) of sub-section (3) of section 54F. However, certain individuals are prohibited from being appointed, including those not registered with the relevant professional regulator, related parties of the corporate debtor, auditors of the corporate debtor from the past five years, partners or directors of the insolvency professional entity associated with the resolution professional, and relatives of the resolution professional or associated partners or directors.
