Appointment of professionals restricts eligibility and disqualifies related parties, recent auditors, partners, and relatives from appointment. Appointment of professionals permits the resolution professional to engage registered persons, but prohibits appointment of those not registered, related parties of the corporate debtor, individuals who were the corporate debtor's auditor in the five years preceding the insolvency commencement date, partners or directors of the insolvency professional entity of which the resolution professional is a partner or director, and relatives of the resolution professional or of such partners or directors.
