of <h1>Finance Act 2020 commencement: Sections 2-104 effective April 1, 2020; Sections 118-131 and 134 to be notified</h1> The Finance Act, 2020, enacted to implement the Central Government's financial proposals for the 2020-2021 year and assented on 27 March 2020, is titled as such and contains commencement provisions: except where otherwise stated, sections 2-104 take effect from 1 April 2020, while sections 118-131 and 134 come into force on dates to be notified by the Central Government. A corrigendum corrected earlier section numbering errors effective 27 March 2020.
