Auditor appointment grants inspection powers and requires applicants to comply with auditor access to documents and systems. The Board may appoint an auditor to inspect or investigate the books, records, documents, infrastructure, systems, procedures and affairs of an applicant or a designated depository participant; the auditor shall have the same powers as the inspecting officer under the inspection regime, and the applicant or designated depository participant and its directors, officers and employees are subject to the same obligations toward the auditor as set out in the corresponding compliance provision.
