of <h1>Venture Capital Funds Must Comply with SEBI Regulation 7; Notify Board of False or Changed Information</h1> The certificate granted under regulation 7 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Venture Capital Funds) Regulations, 1996, is subject to specific conditions. The venture capital fund must comply with the Act and these regulations, refrain from engaging in activities other than those of a venture capital fund, and promptly notify the Board in writing if any previously submitted information is found to be false or misleading or if there are changes to the submitted information. The reference to 'the Government of India Guidelines' was omitted in an amendment effective from September 15, 2000.
