For companies, the memorandum of association must focus on venture capital activities, and they must not invite public securities subscriptions. Directors and officers should not have litigation or convictions involving moral turpitude or economic offences. Trusts require a registered trust deed with similar restrictions on trustees. Bodies corporate must be established by law and meet similar criteria. Applicants must not have been previously denied or had their certificate suspended or canceled by the Board.
