Payment in instalments permitted subject to written reasons, interest and prescribed conditions; default accelerates entire outstanding balance. The Commissioner may, for reasons recorded in writing, allow payment of amounts due (excluding self assessed return liabilities) in monthly instalments for up to two years, subject to payment of interest and prescribed conditions; default of any instalment accelerates the whole outstanding balance, making it immediately payable and liable for recovery without further notice.
