Exporters must ship goods within one year of receiving advance payment, ensure interest rates do not exceed LIBOR plus 100 basis points, and route shipping documents through the authorized dealer handling the payment. If shipment cannot be completed within one year, refunds or interest payments require Reserve Bank approval. Export agreements may provide for shipment periods exceeding one year from advance payment receipt.
