Export on lease or hire requires prior Reserve Bank permission; trade agreements and counter trade also need approval. Exports of goods by lease, hire or other arrangements except sale or disposal require prior Reserve Bank permission. Exports under Governmental trade arrangements or rupee credits are governed by Trade Control Authority public notices and Reserve Bank instructions; exports under Exim Bank lines of credit follow terms advised by the Reserve Bank to authorised dealers. Counter trade arrangements adjusting import and export values also require prior Reserve Bank approval.
