of <h1>Rule 12 Mandates Filing Affidavit of Service 7 Days Before Meeting for Compliance with Notice and Advertisement Directions</h1> The Companies (Compromises, Arrangements and Amalgamations) Rules, 2016, under Rule 12, require the appointed Chairperson or designated person to file an affidavit of service with the Tribunal at least seven days before the scheduled meeting. This affidavit must confirm compliance with the directions for issuing notices and advertisements for the meeting. If there is a failure to comply with this requirement, the application and a copy of the last order will be presented before the Tribunal for appropriate orders.
