Rule 8 requires that official visits abroad by the Chairperson and Members be undertaken only under orders of the Central Government, with the Chairperson entitled to allowances equivalent to the Central Government grade of Rs. 90,000 (fixed) and Members entitled to allowances applicable to the Apex Scale of Rs. 80,000 (fixed).
