<h1>Companies must notify Registrar of charge satisfaction within 300 days using Form CHG-4, per Companies Law Sections 82/83.</h1> Under the Companies (Registration of Charges) Rules, 2014, a company or charge holder must notify the Registrar of the full payment or satisfaction of any registered charge within 300 days using Form No.CHG-4, accompanied by a fee. Upon doing so, the Registrar will record a memorandum of satisfaction and issue a certificate of registration of satisfaction in Form No.CHG-5, as per sections 82 or 83 of the Companies Law. This rule was amended in 2018 to extend the notification period from 30 to 300 days.
