Compounding of offence: application must be submitted electronically to the Secretary with prescribed fee paid through government payment gateway. An application for compounding of an offence must be submitted in electronic form to the designated central authority and accompanied by the prescribed fee, which shall be paid through the payment gateway specified by the Central Government, thereby replacing prior requirements for physical submission and payment by demand draft or banker's cheque.
