Custody of foreign contribution: unutilised funds in cancelled FCRA accounts vest with the prescribed authority under the Act. Unutilised foreign contribution in an FCRA account upon cancellation of a person's registration certificate vests with the prescribed authority under the Act; if the funds were transferred to another person before or on cancellation, the custody mechanism applies to that transferee.
