<h1>Govt Amends Money-Laundering Act to Include Inquiry Authorities Under Civil Services Rules and Public Servants Act.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. G.S.R. 381(E) dated June 27, 2006, under the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. This amendment, effective January 11, 2019, adds a new entry to include inquiry authorities appointed under specific rules and acts, such as the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, and the Public Servants (Inquiries) Act, 1850. These authorities may also include any preliminary inquiry authority appointed with the concurrence of the Central Vigilance Commission, with prior approval from the Central Government.
