of <h1>Central Government amends Money-Laundering Act to include Ministry of External Affairs in notification G.S.R. 381(E).</h1> The Central Government, under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002, has amended the notification G.S.R. 381(E) dated June 27, 2006. This amendment, deemed necessary in the public interest, involves the inclusion of a new entry in the notification. Specifically, after serial number (15), the Ministry of External Affairs is now added as serial number (16). This change is officially documented in the Gazette of India by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, as GSR 735(E) dated October 1, 2012.
