of <h1>Customs updates document fee schedule: most amendments Rs.1,000, certified copies Rs.100, section 46 proviso amendments nil</h1> The customs authority amended the Levy of Fees (Customs Documents) Regulations, 1970, effective on publication, replacing the fee table to prescribe charges for various document services: amendments to import/export manifests, shipping bills, port clearance and outward entry applications, short-shipment notices, cancellations, and most bill of entry amendments at Rs.1,000 each; certified copies of bills, shipping bills and other customs documents at Rs.100; and amendments of a prior bill of entry filed under the proviso to section 46 are exempt (nil).
