      Summary: Inserts a new entry classifying maintenance, repair or overhaul services in respect of aircraft, aircraft engines and other aircraft components or parts as a distinct taxable item in Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate), prescribes the State tax rate for that entry, and amends the related item's cross-reference to include the new entry. The amendment is made under the Maharashtra GST Act and takes effect from 1 April 2020.

      Seeks to notify the date from which an individual shall undergo authentication, of Aadhaar number in order to be eligible for registration.
      Summary: The Maharashtra GST notification requires individuals to undergo Aadhaar authentication as the eligibility condition for GST registration under the Maharashtra GST Rules, and mandates that where an Aadhaar number is not assigned the individual shall be offered alternate and viable means of identification as specified in the Rules.

      Seeks to specify the class of persons who shall be exempted from aadhar authentication.
      Summary: The notification provides that sub section (6B) or sub section (6C) of the Maharashtra GST Act shall not apply to persons who are not citizens of India or to classes other than: Individual; authorised signatory of all types; Managing and Authorised partner; and Karta of a Hindu undivided family, thereby limiting Aadhaar authentication obligations to those enumerated classes.

      Seeks to exempt certain class of registered persons capturing dynamic QR code and the date for implementation of QR Code to be extended to 01.10.2020
      Summary: An invoice issued to an unregistered person by a registered person whose aggregate turnover exceeds five hundred crore rupees, excluding certain categories under rule 54 and persons under section 14 of the IGST Act, must include a Dynamic QR code; provisionally, a digital display providing the Dynamic QR code with a cross-reference to payment shall be deemed to satisfy the QR code requirement, and the notification comes into force on 1st October 2020.

      Seeks to exempt certain class of registered persons from issuing e-invoices and the date for implementation of e-invoicing extended to 01.10.2020.
      Summary: The notification designates registered persons whose aggregate turnover exceeds the prescribed threshold as required to prepare invoices and other prescribed documents electronically for supplies to registered persons under sub rule (4) of rule 48 of the Maharashtra GST Rules, excluding persons referred to in sub rules (2), (3), (4) and (4A) of rule 54; it supersedes the earlier notification and fixes the date from which the e invoicing obligation will come into force.

      Summary: The Scheme issues Sovereign Gold Bonds as Government of India Stock in gram denominations, available to resident individuals, HUFs, trusts, charitable institutions and universities. Annual subscription ceilings: 4 kg for individuals/HUFs and 20 kg for trusts; nominal value fixed by the three day average gold price of 999 purity, with Rs.50 per gram discount for online digital payments. Bonds bear 2.50% p.a. interest payable half yearly, have an eight year tenor with premature redemption from year five, are transferable and tradable, usable as loan collateral subject to LTV norms, and receive capital gains tax exemption on redemption for individuals.

      Summary: SEBI grants temporary procedural relaxations under LODR: prior board meeting intimation periods are shortened to two days for the interim window; delayed intimation of loss and duplicate share certificates within the covered interval will not attract penal measures; digital signatures are authorised for filings; and newspaper publication requirements under Regulation 47 and analogous Regulation 52(8) obligations for NCDs/NCRPS are exempted during the specified relief periods. The circular is effective immediately and issued under SEBI's statutory powers, subject to the Companies Act.

Exports under this allocation are 'Free' subject to the Nature of Restrictions in Notification No. 3/2015 20; reporting to the promotion body must be followed. Certificates of Origin for preferential sugar exports to the USA will be issued by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai, and other specific certification requirements remain applicable through the fiscal period.
