of <h1>Maharashtra cuts MGST on aircraft MRO services from 18% to 5% with full ITC, effective April 2020.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has amended Notification No. 11-2017-State Tax (Rate) to reduce the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (MGST) rate on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft from 18% to 5%, with full Input Tax Credit (ITC) available. This amendment, effective from April 1, 2020, is made under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the Council, and aims to support public interest. The changes are detailed in Notification No. 2/2020-State Tax (Rate), published on April 7, 2020.
