of <h1>Maharashtra exempts certain businesses from dynamic QR code requirement for B2C invoices under GST Act, effective October 2020.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued a notification under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, exempting certain registered persons from capturing dynamic QR codes. The notification specifies that invoices issued by registered persons with an annual turnover exceeding five hundred crore rupees to unregistered persons must include a dynamic QR code. If the QR code is displayed digitally, the invoice will be considered compliant. This requirement applies to B2C invoices, excluding those under specific sub-rules of rule 54. The implementation date for this requirement is extended to October 1, 2020.
