of <h1>Maharashtra GST Update: E-Invoice Exemption for Certain Businesses; Mandatory From October 1, 2020, per Rule 54.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued a notification under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, exempting certain registered persons from issuing e-invoices. This applies to those whose aggregate turnover in a financial year exceeds one hundred crore rupees, except for those specified in sub-rules (2), (3), (4), and (4A) of rule 54. The implementation date for mandatory e-invoicing has been extended to October 1, 2020. This notification supersedes a previous one dated January 1, 2020, and will take effect from October 1, 2020.
