of <h1>Revised chemical export SION norms reshape duty-free import entitlements, input limits, and general rules for authorisations, effective immediately</h1> Specified Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) for Chemical and Allied Products are revised, including amendments to SIONs K18, K34, K58, K65, K117, A1569, A1576, A1579, A1766, A1806 and insertion of new entries A3696 and A3697 as set out in Annexure A; this changes the permissible input entitlements, quantity/value limits, and conditionality for duty-free import authorisations linked to the corresponding export products with immediate effect. Serial No. 8 of the General Notes for All Export Product Groups is revised as set out in Annexure B; this alters the general operational rules for correlating allowed inputs with export product descriptions and for applying specific versus generic norms, alternative inputs, and quantity/value-based limitations in advance authorisations and duty free replenishment instruments.
