Glass fibre fabric export input norms updated: yarn/roving allowance lowered and yarn-only rule replaced; import authorisations tightened
Standard Input-Output Norm K34 for Glass Fibre Fabric (1 kg) is substituted to prescribe eligible inputs and quantities as Glass Fibre Yarn or Roving at 1.0364 kg and Poly Vinyl Alcohol at 0.001 kg, replacing the earlier norm that permitted only Glass Fibre Yarn at 1.05 kg with the same Poly Vinyl Alcohol quantity. This clarification modifies the permissible input composition and reduces the normative yarn/roving entitlement for duty-free/import authorisations linked to exports of Glass Fibre Fabric. Applicants must ensure that inputs sought for import and actually imported correspond to those used or required in the exported product.
