of <h1>Companies Can Hold EGMs via Video Conference Until December 31, 2022, as Per Ministry of Corporate Affairs Extension.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has extended the timeline for companies to conduct Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) via Video Conference (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM) until December 31, 2022. This extension allows companies to pass Ordinary and Special resolutions under the Companies Act, 2013, accommodating COVID-19 restrictions. The extension follows previous circulars issued in 2020 and 2021, and all other requirements from those circulars remain unchanged. This decision is approved by the Competent Authority.
